Inspirational Grilled Sandwich Ideas

Tasty grilled sandwich ideas are always welcome. I think we all love cheese, but sometimes a few other ideas are also very welcome. So, I thought I'll scratch around for a few good ideas and share them with you.

The first variation that I find a lot of fun is using flavored butter to make them with. First of all you need to know that you can use it as a filling and you can use it with a filling, for instance parsley butter will complement just about any filling.

A few suggestions for flavored butter:

All are made by beating the butter until it is soft and fluffy and then adding the other ingredients.

A mustard one can be made by mixing half a cup of butter with a quarter cup of prepared, mild mustard. This one really complements any meat filling very well.

You can make an egg one by mixing half a cup of butter with the yolks of 4 hard boiled eggs, six drops of Worcestershire say and a pinch of pepper. Obviously a bacon filling goes very well with this one.

If you make one with half a cup of butter mixed with 2 tablespoons of parsley you have a tasty one to use with just about any filling. I cannot think of a filling that will not be improved by this one.

Now I want to give you the recipe for one of my favorites, only problem is that some of you may have a problem getting hold of all the ingredients. This is a Marmite one. In Britain and South Africa it is very popular, but in the US you may have to buy it from a specialty shop.

This one is really tasted with your traditional cheese and it consists of half a cup of butter and 2 tablespoons of Marmite. As Marmite is very flavorful you will also find that it complements just about any filling. Really try and experiment with it a little, you will be surprised at how tasty it is.

So, I think with these grilled sandwich ideas, that are so easy and simple, you will really be able to think of a few tasty and interesting combinations to surprise your family and friends with exceptional grilled sandwiches.
